How to Add Students to Already Existing Assessments (SBG)

When a student is a late enrollee or for some other reason is not graded on an assignment when it is created, they will not have a "blank" in their SBG gradebook. This is because SBG doesn't assume that all students automatically are responsible for an assessment (on the other hand, the regular Gradebook does make this assumption). As such, at times it will be necessary to add an assessment to a student later, for example, if they need to make something up or should have been included in the first place. 

It's very straight forward process to go about grading this student on this new-to-them assessment. To get started, go to your SB Gradebook, then select the Assessments List button: 

Next, pick the assessment from the list of all assessments. Finally, click on the "Reselect Standards/Students" button:

The current enrollment list of students appears on the right. Simply check off the name of the student you need to add and click "Next". You will return to the assessment grade entry page. Enter the grades you need for this student, then click "Save".
