QuickSchools supports custom fields for Subjects/Courses, which can be really useful for tracking things like start/end dates, departments, long descriptions, and so on.
Remember that when you add a custom field, you can also include it in the main list of subjects, and even search by specific custom fields. These options can be setup from the Configure link on any subject that you click on (once custom fields are in use)
Custom fields for Subjects/Courses are disabled by default. To turn it on, as an administrator, you’ll need to go to the “Features” page, and configure the “Report Cards/Gradebook” module to “Enable subject custom fields”.
