The Attendance Snapshot app gives school admins a quick, visual overview of all student attendance for a given day. Think of it as a simple, color-coded grid that fills in as teachers take attendance throughout the day. It’s available in the School Apps section, and access can be granted only to the staff who need it.
When you open the app, you’ll see a spreadsheet-style view of every student. At the start of the day, the grid is empty. As teachers begin submitting attendance, the cells update automatically so you can immediately see who’s present, absent, excused, or late.
If your school uses daily, period-based, subject-based, or rotating attendance, the app will reflect that. Each period fills in as the day moves along, giving you a clear picture without needing to open each class one by one.
You can also look back at previous days to verify patterns or cross-check with your Attendance Reports. Many admins keep this app open throughout the day since it updates in real time and makes it easy to catch issues early.
